Making Interfaces Feel Expensive

Premium interfaces are rarely created by adding more visual effects. Consistent spacing, intentional typography, restrained color usage, meaningful motion, and strong visual hierarchy usually have a much greater impact. A good interface makes the important elements obvious while allowing secondary information to remain quiet.
